Attica – Mrs. Winifred J. Fay, 91 of 303 Summit St, died today in Community Hospital, Williamsport. She had been ill one year and was a patient in Covington Manor Nursing Home for one month before entering the hospital Born at Keokuk, Iowa, she lived most of her life in Fountain County and was educated at Antioch School in Davis Township. She was a practical nurse. She was married in 1907 at Covington to Clifford, Fay who died in 1959. Mrs. Fay was a life member of Attica Free Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Leo (Mary) Rennick of Williamsport; one sister, Mrs. Clarence (Dessie) Green of Attica and a brother, Earl Kingen of Lafayette. - kbz

Mrs. Winifred J. Fay of Attica, age 91, died Monday morning, December 7, in Community Hospital at Williamsport. She was born in Keokuk, Iowa, May 14, 1890, the daughter of David Frank and Mary Alice Burnsworth Kingen. December 27, 1907, she married Clifford Fay, who died in 1959. A long time resident of Fountain County, she as a member of Attica Free Methodist Church and had worked as a practical nurse.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Rennick of Williamsport; a sister, Mrs. Dessie Green of Attica; a brother, Earl Kingen of Lafayette; eight grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 31 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held this morning (Thursday) at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. James Rea officiating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery east of Attica. – s -
