FARTHING, John A - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

John A. Farthing of Attica, age 76, died Thursday morning, November 4, in Williamsport Community Hospital. He was born in Warren County, June 22, 1906, the son of Evert and Mary J. Graff Farthing. June 22, 1929, he married Martha May Lindbury, who died February 3, 1969. He was a member of the Attica First Lutheran Church, a graduate of Attica High School and worked at Harrison Steel Casting Company.

  Surviving are a daughter, Eleanor Lois Garrison of Attica; a foster daughter, Carla Ruth Duvall of West Lafayette; three grandchildren and one great grandson.

  Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Karl Korbel officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks so much to “S”
