FARNER, John A. - 1947 - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

John A. Farner, 70, native of Parke County died at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at his home in Covington.  Mr. Farner had been ill four years with heart trouble.  Born Aug 12, 1876 the deceased was the son of James and Emmaline Bennis Farner.  He married Mary Williams May 9, 1914.  Surviving in addition to the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Lulu Morgan of Tilton, Ill and Mrs. Vera Shumaker of Covington; two son, Arthur of Indianapolis and Edward of Covington; two broths and two sisters.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon at the Assembly of God Church in charge of Rev.
