Veedersburg – Joseph Farley, a retired engineer for Veedersburg Brick Company died at 4 p.m. Saturday at his home here following several months’ illness. Mr. Farley had been a resident of Veedersburg 60 years. He was born May 14, 1862 near West Point, Ind son of John and Martha Baker Farley. His wife, the former Nancy Harlow Marsh died in 1936. Surviving are a daughter. Mrs. Daisy Graham of Detroit; two stepsons, Elmer and Thomas Marsh of Veedersburg; a sister, Mrs. George Howell of Elwood, Ind and a grandson, Joseph Engle of Detroit. Funeral services were held at 2 pm. Monday at Fishero Funeral Home here with the Rev. OW McGaughey officiating. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery – Oct 1944.
