 Rowena H. Fanson of Danville, Illinois, age 78, died Sunday afternoon, January 17, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, March 21, 1903, the daughter of William and Martha Robinson Horneman. Her husband, Arthur, died in 1944. Mrs. Fanson had been employed at the Danville High School cafeteria from 1951 to 1966.

  Survivors include two daughters, Martha Ann Siddens of Bismarck, Illinois, and Rowena Rogers of Veedersburg; a son, Wesley of Catlin, Illinois; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held this morning (Thursday) at Barrick and Son Funeral Home in Danville with Rev. Rodger Powell officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery. – thanks so much to “S”
