News of the death of William P. Fanning of West Los Angeles, Calif in the Veterans Hospital there was received by Veedersburg friends this week from his wife, the former Gretchen Sullivan of Veedersburg. He passed on at 12 noon on Nov 8 after having been in a serious condition for some months. A military funeral service was conducted on Nov 14 at the Veterans Cemetery Chapel with burial there. Mrs. Fanning is a sister of Dr. Paul Sullivan of Attica and John Sullivan of Valparaiso and of the late Henry J. Sullivan who made his home with Mrs. Fanning until his death on last May 19. - kbz
