Mrs. E. Marie Fahl, 66, former local resident of Danvenport, Iowa died at 11:40 a.m. Friday in St. Luke’s Hospital following a short illness. Born in Fountain County she was married in 1930 at Lafayette to Joseph Fahl. He died in 1972. Mrs. Fahl had worked at Mueller’s Model Laundry for 26 years prior to retiring in 1976. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star at Lafayette, a Red Cross Volunteer and member of St. John’s Methodist Church at Danveport. Surviving are two sons, Richard E. Fahl of Council Bluffs, Iowa and John W. Fahl, Bettendorf, iowa; three sister, Mrs. Vera Tague and Mrs. Louise Manis both of Lafayette and mrs. Phyllis Hardy of Indianapolis and three brothers, Glen Knowles, St. Cloud, Fla; Harold Knowles and Eugene Knowles, both of Lafayette. – kbz
