COLEMAN, Mont "Doc"

Mont “Doc” Coleman of Perrysville, age 79, died Sunday, August 8, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. He was born in Wabash Township, Fountain County, June 19, 1903, the son of Frank and Annie Cadman Coleman. October 14, 1942, he married Fauniel Scott, who died March 3, 1961. A graduate of Perrysville High School and Indiana State University, he formerly taught at White’s School and had been employed with Standard Oil Company in Whiting, Ford Motor Company at Chicago and Wabash River Ordinance plant. He was a member of West Liberty Christian Church.
  Surviving are two sisters, Bessie Anderson and grace Wilson, both of Covington; four brothers, Claude, Frank, and Donald, all of Covington, and Robert of rural Crawfordsville; and several nieces and nephews.
  Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Clark DeVore officiating. Burial was in West Liberty Cemetery.
