Orville K. “Jack” Cole of Williamsport, age 62, died Wednesday morning, January 26, in Meadow Heights Nursing Center at Williamsport. He was born in Veedersburg, November 17, 1920, the son of William and Ada Knowles Cole. A member of east Liberty Christian Church near Cates and a graduate of Rob Boy School, he had lived at Stone Bluff for 40 years and north of Covington for 11 years.

  Surviving are three sisters; Juanita McElhaney of Hoopeston, Illinois, Irene Coffing of Lafayette and Hazel Coffing of Attica; and two brothers, Ralph of Melott and Forrest of Stone Bluff.

  Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Maus Funeral Chapel in Attica with Rev. R. Larry Smith officiating. Burial was in Osborne Prairie Cemetery near Stone Bluff. – thanks to S

Stone Bluff - Orville K "Jack" Cole, 2, of Stone Bluff died at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Meadow Heights Nursing Center, Williamsport where he had resided the past two years.  He was born in Veedersburg and graduated from Rob Roy school.  He had lived in Stone Bluff 40 years prior to moving to the nursing center.  Mr. Cole was a member of East Liberty Christian Church near Cates.  Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Juanita McElhaney of Hoopeston, Ill; Mrs. Irene Coffing of Lafayette and Mrs. Hazel Coffing of Attica; and two brothers, Ralph Cole of Mellott and Forrest Cole of Stone Bluff. - kbz
