Mrs. Frances I. Cole, 64, of Attica Route 4, died Sunday (Aug. 29, 1971) at Lake View Memorial Hospital. She had been a patient since Saturday and had been ill four years. Born Feb. 10, 1907, near Carbondale in Warren County, she was the daughter of John and Lottie Simmerman Lucas. She was married Aug. 22, 1925, in Attica to Homer C. Cole, who survives. Mrs. Cole had formerly resided in Carbondale and Judyville before moving to Attica Route 4 in 1945. She was a graduate of Judyville High and was a member of the Boswell Church of Christ. Her husband had been a farmer and she a housewife. Other survivors include a son, Laurence of Attica Route 4; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Norma) Powell of West Lebanon; a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Ruth) Ford of Boswell; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister. Services Tuesday at the Maus Funeral Home. The Rev. Harry C. Randolph officiated. Burial in Rainsville Cemetery.
