COFFING, Emma Osborn

Mrs. Emma Osborn Coffing, 86 years old, a lifetime resident of the Covington community and widow of the late Morton Coffing died Sunday morning at the home of a daughter at Arlington, VA. Mrs. Coffing had suffered a stroke about a month ago and was removed to the home of the daughter, Mrs. Ruby Duncan in Arlington for temporary care. She is survived by the daughter and one son, Earl now in New Mexico where he recently moved by trailer from Iowa and could not be notified of the funeral arrangements. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Hope cemetery at Covington – kbz
