Hillsboro Dec 14 – A stroke of apoplexy brought death Monday morning to Mrs. Susan Coen, the widow of the late John Coen after she had been ill for more than a year from a stroke of paralysis.  She was a native of Pennsylvania and was born there 79 years ago. However a great part of her life was spent in and around Newtown. She is survived by one son, Ernest Coen of near Newtown; one daughter, Mrs. Zula Bever with whom she had made her home and one granddaughter, Miss Marie Coen. – kbz
