COEN, Caroline - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Caroline B. Coen – Died Saturday morning Dec 12, 1885.  Was born in Lancaster County, Penn Dec 16, 1836 and died in Jasper County Ind Dec 12, 1885, at the age of 48 years, 11 months and 27 days.  Her maiden name was Hosler. Her parents removed from Pennsylvania when she was bur three years old, and settled in Fountain County, Indiana. She was married to William S. Coen, March 15, 1854 and they moved to Jasper County in November 1866. To this union have been born 10 children – 6 sons and 4 daughters – none of whom survive her. She united with the Presbyterian Church at RobRoy, Fountain County, Ind at about the age of 15.
