Crawfordsville—Cozetta Lewellen Coats, 67, 301 Russell Ave., Crawfordsville, formerly of Route 1, Hillsboro, died at 5:50 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 1989 in Carmen Nursing Home, Crawfordsville. She had been a resident there since April 1988.
She was born May 8, 1921 in Stylesville, the daughter of Ray and Hallie Mae Wallace Ward. She was married May 26, 1941 to Arnold Lewellen, who preceded her in death in 1966.
Surviving are two sons, Gary Lewellen, Panama City, Fla., and Terry Lewellen, Crawfordsville; two daughters, Lois Johnson and Mrs. Steven (Judith) Ford, both of Crawfordsville; a brother, Eugene Ward, Camby, Ind., and a sister, Mrs. Edna Snyder, and nine grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today (Friday) at Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, with the Rev. Richard Baker officiating.- thanks to s
