Wallace -- Vernest Ray Clouse, 64, a Wallace native, died unexpectedly Sunday at his home in Griffith. Mr. Clouse was retired from the Atlantic-Richfield Refining Co. at Griffith. He was married to Vonda Louise Teeter on November 22, 1932. He was born Nov 10, 1908 at Wallace, a son of Bert and Cora Clodfelter Clouse and was graduated from Wallace HS in 1928. Survivors include the widow; a son, Richard D. of Versailles, Ky; a daughter, Mrs. Vonda Ray Pickel of Griffith; two brothers, Eston R. Clouse and Gerald R. Clouse, both of Highland; three sisters, Mrs. Carol West of Houston, Tex and Mrs. AGnes Sloan and Mrs. Inez Bennett, both of Hillsboro and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Paul. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Griffith.

Wallace - Funeral services for Vernest Clouse, 64, who died Sunday will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Royce Funeral Home at Griffin, Ind. Graveside services will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday at Lutheran Cemetery at Wallace.
