Jesse Frank Clouse, 71, succumbed at his home in Ladoga at 2:10 p.m. Thursday. He had been in ill health for five years and critically ill for a week. Born Dec. 2, 1884, south of Wallace, he was the son of Andrew James and Eliza Jane Pickett Clouse. He married Grace Henthorn July 7, 1910 at Waynetown. He lived most of his life near Wallace and had lived in Ladoga for 11 years. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by the wife; a daughter, Margaret Oakes of Crawfordsville; six sons, Herman of Veedersburg, Harold of Crawfordsville, James of Detroit, Raymond of Wallace, Hugh and Franklin Leroy both of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Joe of Crawfordsville and Emmit of Tangier. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Cox Funeral Home in Ladoga. Burial will be in the Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. Clouse Rites Are Held At Ladoga LADOGA Funeral services for Jesse Frank Clouse were held from the Cox Funeral Home Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Avery Myers officiating. Rev. L. D. Lockwood assisted. John Thomas of Wallace sang two songs, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Beyond the Sunset", with Mrs. George Frantz as organist. Pallbearers were Drake Young, Gene Lane, Harry Brunst, John Hubble, Earl Cunningham and Oral Simmons. Burial was in the Ladoga Cemetery.
