Wallace - Guy B. Clodfelter, 63 of Rt 1, Hillsboro trustee of Jackson Township was fatally stricken Tuesday at his home 4 miles north of here. He was president of Jackson Township Farm Bureau and vice president of Fountain County Historical Society. He was a member of Wallace Phanuel Lutheran Church. Mr. Clodfelter was a 1933 graduate of Wallace HS and attended Indiana Central College. He was retired supervisor at US STeel's Gary Works. He was born at his home on Nov 23, 1914, a son of Guy E & Phoebe ann Bever Clodfelter. He was married to Ruth Bailey on June 1, 1938 at Danville, Ill. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sharon Pederson of Merrillville and Mrs. Sandra Parrant of heartland, WI; a brother, Frank of Carmel; an aunt, Mrs. Ellen Neal of Crawfordsville and 5 grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Phanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Karl Korbel and the Rev. Michael Marietta officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown after 4 p.m. Thursday.
