COVINGTON — Novella Alice Clodfelder, 85, Covington, died at 11:25 a.m. Friday, July 16, 1999, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette. Born May 29, 1914, in Fulton Township, Fountain County, she was the daughter of David E. and Lilly B. Stoup Campbell. She married Elbert L. Clodfelder March 31, 1932. He preceded in death July 20, 1988. She was a a life resident of the Cates area. She had resided at Covington Manor since May 1997. She was a member of the Cates Community Church and had attended Kingman schools. She was employed several years at Coffing Brothers Orchard and Radio Materials Corp. in Attica. Survivors include: daughters, Joanne (Gerald) Nolan, Covington, June Rhoades, Crawfordsville; sisters, Evelyn Bruno, Mashpee, Mass., Kathleen Bowling, Kingman; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday in Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, with Don Hesler officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington. – jlr
