CLEVIDENCE, Leatha - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Leatha Clevidence, 85, mother of Mrs. Violet Snelling of Veedersburg died last Friday at her home in Odell, Ind after an illness of 5 years. She was born March 12, 1871 in Harden County, Kentucky daughter of Harvey and Jane Barker Hawkins and was married to George Clevidence on April 11, 1885.  She had lived in Odell for 50 years. Besides the husband and Mrs. Snelling, another daughter, Miss Corrina Clevidence at home; 5 grandchildren and six great grandchildren survive. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at DeSutter Funeral Home in Attica, conducted by Rev. William Hodge with burial in Black Cemetery southeast of Odell. – kbz
