CLEMENCE, Alice Bever Lowe - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Alice Marie CLEMENCE, 84, of Covington died at 7:25 p.m. Thursday in Covington Manor Nursing home. Mrs. Clemence had worked at Flamingo Manufacturing. She was a 1933 graduate of Wallace HS and member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was born Oct 9, 1912 at Covington to George Rutherford Wilson and Zella May Bever. She married Frank Lowe in 1938. He died 1951. She later married Robert E. Clemence Dec 10, 1961. He died 1980. Survivors include one daughter, Georgeanna Carter Shumaker; one sister, Bernice Alderson; 3 grandchildren and two greats. Preceding her in death was a grandson. Graveside services are scheduled 2 p.m. Sunday in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Covington. No calling. Shoemaker Funeral Home of Waynetown in charge of arrangements.
