Mrs. Mary E. Clem, 77, a resident of Danville since 1907, died at 11:30 a.m. yesterday (July 29, 1966) in Vermilion Nursing Home where she had been a patient one month. She had been in failing health for several years. A native of Sullivan County, Ind., she was born Oct. 17, 1888, the daughter of John and Mary Jane Morgan. Mrs. Clem came to Danville when she was 19 and in 1929 was married to Grover Clem at Imperial Valley, Calif. He preceded her in death. There are no survivors. The body is at Jones-Sullivan Funeral Home where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Paul Donaldson will officiate, with burial in Gordon Cemetery.
