CLAYTON, Clyde - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

ALAMO -- Funeral services were held in Indianapolis for Clyde Clayton, 69, a resident of the Alamo area for the last 18 years. He died in Indianapolis at Veterans Hospital, where he had been a patient for several weeks. Burial was at Indianapolis. Clayton was born March 18, 1894, in Columbus, Ohio. His parents were Philip and Sandra Clayton. Forty-six years ago he married Nina Taylor, who survives. Other survivors are two sons, Everett of near Alamo and William of Park Forest, Ill; two daughters, Carrie Bober of Crete, Ill., and Francis Binford of Norfolk, Va.; 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a brother, Charles Clayton of Hillsboro, Tenn.~
