Mrs. Lula Clawson, 91, a former resident of 713 N. Hazel, died at 11:55 p.m. yesterday (Feb. 9, 1967) in the Vermilion Nursing Home where she had been a patient 12 years. She had been in ill health four years. Born May 9, 1875, at Rossville, she was a daughter of George and Minerva Young Osborn. Surviving are a son, Clyde Clawson of Danville, and a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Swearinger of Danville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac, in 1928. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Edmund-Jones-Sullivan Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery near Covington. Friends will be received at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 Saturday.
