COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Katie Mae Clawson, 92, of Covington, died at 11:05 a.m. (EST) today (Dec. 17, 1975) at Meadow Heights Nursing Home in Attica. She had been a patient two weeks and had been in ill health several months. Born July 14, 1883, in Stone Bluff, she was the daughter of William and Liza Asbury Helms. She was married to Marshal R. Clawson in February 1901. He preceded her in death. Survivors include five sons, George, Frank and Millard all of Covington, Willard of Danville and John of El Monte, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Dan (Ada) French of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. John (Ida) Warrick of Covington; many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, five brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Clawson resided in Covington 63 years. She was a former resident of Attica, rural Attica and Stone Bluff. She was a member of the Stone Bluff Methodist Church and attended the Covington Assembly of God Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. (EST) Saturday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday.--waw
