Independence – Mrs. Ocean O. Clawson, 83, of Independence, died in Edgewood View Nursing Home, Oxford, at 5:45 am. Today. She had been a patient there since Dec 14 and in ill health the past five years. Born and reared at Independence, she married Noble P. Clawson at Attica in 1907. He died in 1970. He was the owner of Clawson Feed Mill at Independence. Surviving are three sons, Eugene of Lafayette and Gerald and Delmar of Rt 3, Attica; two daughters Mrs. Opal Flynn of Attica and Mrs. Doria Reynolds of Valparaiso and a brother, Arnold Yater of Rt 2, Attica. - kbz
