Attica - Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, 1t the Roemer Funeral Chapel for William Chester Clark, age 65 of Williamsport Rt. 1, who died at 11:46 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, while enroute to a hospital in Williamsport. He had been in ill health for several years and seriously ill the past three weeks. He was born Dec. 15, 1897 near Riverside to Lorenzo and Iona Pearson Clark. He was married in 1904 to the former Marian Morgan and she survives. Mr. Clark had been employed by the Smith Bakery in Attica from 1932-40, and had also worked at the Paris Cleaners in Attica and at the Harrison Steel Castings Co. He was a member of the Attica EUB Church. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Smith of Brownsburg; three sons, Chester and Dennis Clark, both of Attica, and William D. Clark of Mellott; six sisters, Mrs. Lela Balser, Miss Rose Clark, Miss Alice Clark, Mrs. Louis Nelson , all of Attica; Mrs. Flossie McAlister of Mellott, and Mrs. Arch Alenduff of Bradenton, Fla.; a brother, L.D. Clark of Attica; and 10 grandchildren.
