Attica, Ind. - Mrs. Pearl Clark, 79, of Attica Route 3, died today (Oct 17, 1968) at the Logansport Hospital. She had been ill two and a half years. Born Dec. 28, 1888, in Brown County, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Elkins. She moved to Warren County in 1914 and was married to John W. Clark, who died. Mrs. Clark has resided in Warren County for 54 years. She was a member of the Christian Church and Indiana War Mothers Club. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marie Haig of Oaklawn, Ill.; six sons, Alton of South Bend, Kenneth of Sanford, Fla., Marshall of Osteen, Fla., Lawrence of Lafayette, William of Indianapolis, and Lt. Col. John Clark Jr. of Frankfurt, Germany, and four sisters, Mrs. Ida Rose of Morris, Ill., Miss Ivy Elkins, Miss Ethel Elkins and Mrs. Mert Crider, all of Bloomington. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Crowmer & Siddens Funeral Home in Williamsport. The Rev. Norman Able will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at Lafayette. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after 4 p.m. Saturday.
