CLARK, Orrie S. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica, Sept 7 – Orrie S. Clark, 80, long prominent here died shortly after 11 o’clock this morning at his home here while being shaved.  Mr. Clark was a son of the late Sam Clark, former Fountain County treasurer and prominent Attica business man.  For years Mr. Clark was cashier of the Central National Bank and Trust Company.  He served one term as state representative and several terms as a member of the city council.  A life-long democrat he was active in party councils.  In his early days he spent some time in the west as a cowboy.  His wife died about 7 years ago.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. LG Hiner of Lafayette; two sons, Reid W of Attica and Robert of Chicago with two grandchildren.   - kbz
