Mary F. Hidy Clark of West Lebanon, formerly of Attica, age 69, died Tuesday morning, July 20, In Williamsport Community Hospital. She was born at Danville, Illinois, June 15 1913, the daughter of Edgar and Minnie A. O’Toole Hidy. May 2, 1944, she married Morris A. Clark, who died July 19, 1981.
  Mrs. Clark was a member of Attica First United Methodist Church, Order of eastern Star, Scott-Lo-Ette group, Fountain-Warren Nursing Club, Attica Pythian Sisters, VFW, Auxiliary of the Moose and Business and Professional Woman’s Club. She attended Lakeview School of Nursing and was registered in 1938. She taught nursing in Kankakee, Illinois, prior to entering the Army Nurse Corps during World War II.

Survivors include four daughters, Carol Smart of West Lebanon, Alice Jeffries of Attica, Linda Rader of Crescent City, Illinois, and Mary M. Clark of Danville; two sisters, Betty Brown of Boise, Idaho, and Patty Lynch of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania and six grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. R. Larry Smith officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. today (Thursday). – thanks to S
