ATTICA — Marian Mabel (Morgan) Clark, 91, former Attica resident, who had residing at 5340 W. 96th St., Indianapolis, died at 12:10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 1999 in Brownsburg Healthcare Center, Brownsburg. Born Sept. 11, 1908 near Attica, she was the daughter of Leroy Joshua and Cora Oyler Morgan. She married William C. Clark Aug. 20, 1924 in Attica. He preceded her in death Dec. 21, 1962. She resided most of her life in Attica, relocating to Indianapolis in December 1992. She resided of the center for the past seven weeks. She was employed at Radio Material Corp. in Attica and later worked 20 years as a clerk at Rozell's Drug Store in Attica. She was a member of Bethel Community Church in Attica and attended Attica Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and working in her flower and vegetable garden. Survivors include: daughter, Alice Joyce (Charles O.) Smith, Brownsburg; son, Dennis L. Clark, Kansas City, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by sons, Chester Clark, William Dean Clark; and brothers, Jesse E. and Russell Morgan. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday at Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with the Rev. Marcos Gilmore officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, east of Attica. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. tonight (Wednesday). Memorial contributions can be made to Bethel Community Church. – jlr
