Cleo Edward Clark, 20, died Monday morning at 4:45 o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clark, 535 South 27th street after a several months illness. Born April 24, 1914 in Attica, he was a son of Aubra Clark and Hannah Clark Peat. He formerly lived on South Thirtieth Street and attended Oakland school. On June 3, 1931, he enlisted in the US Navy but was discharged Jan 13, 1933, because of illness. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Hannah Peat, of Danville, Ill and a brother, Robert Lee Clark of this city. The body was removed to the Soller & Baker Funeral Home and will be returned to the Clark residence on South 27th street where friends may call after noon Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Wed morning at 10:30 o’clock from the residence and at 1:30 o’clock from the Christian Church at Covington with Rev. Robert Knight of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Park at Danville, Ill. - kbz
