CHRISTENBERRY, Mary - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Mary Edith Christenberry, 79, a former Attica resident, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, at Meadow Heights Nursing Center in Williamsport.

    Born November 16, 1903 at Robinson, Illinois, she was the daughter of Elwood and Irena Mitchell Cunningham. On November 7, 1923, she married Lewis C. Christenberry at Patricksburg, who died October 29, 1971. She was a graduate of Robinson High School and formerly attended Pine Village Christian School.

   Survivors include two sons, Floyd of Attica and Charles of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

  Services were conducted Saturday at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Gene Polf officiating. Burial was at Pine Village Cemetery. The family requested that any memorials be contributions to the Meadow Heights Nursing Center.
