CHINN, Raymond - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mellott – Raymond R. Chinn, 41 of Mellott died at 7 p.m. Friday in a one-car accident in Montgomery County.  Mr. Chinn was born March 1, 1950 in Hammond.  He had resided in Mexico, NY before moving to Mellott eight years ago.  He married Janet Yerdon Dec 26, 1972 in West Lebanon and she survives.  He attended Seeger HS and was a self-employed carpenter.  Mr. Chin was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church in Attica, the Attica VFW Post and served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Also surviving are two sons: Shawn Chinn and Jamie Chinn, both at home; a brother, James Chinn of West Lebanon; his father, Orville R. Chinn or Oxford and two sisters, Mrs. Onia (Mary Dolores Dee) Shoaf of Newtown and Trudy Maynard of Judyville.   --transcribed by kbz
