CHEZUM, William David

William David Chezum, a well known citizen of the Tree Springs neighborhood south west of Covington died suddenly last Thursday. Mr. Chezum drove his team to the Trueman gravel pit after a load of gravel.  Just as he was leaving the pit he suffered a stroke of paralysis dying almost instantly.  Mr. Chezum would have been 70 years old had he lived until the 20th day of next month. He is survived by several children, his wife having died several years ago. Charles F. Lowe and David Talbert of Covington are cousins of the decedent. The funeral was conducted Sunday afternoon and burial was made in the Mount cemetery just across the river from Covington.
