CHAMBERS, Belle

Waynetown - Sunday morning at 10 at 213 W. Harrison Street, Danville, Ill occurred the death of Mrs. Belle Chambers relic of the late William Chambers of Rossville, Ind. Mrs. Chambers had been afflicted with an internal cancer that has caused her much distress and misery the past six months bringing death as relief. The body was brought to the home of her sisters, Mrs. PJ Lough Monday morning and the funeral services in charge of Rev. HA Davis of Hillsboro will occur from the Christian Church here Tuesday morning at 10.
Mrs. Chambers' maiden name was Lackey and she was born in Ohio 69 years ago. She was twice married and leaves three children by her first husband, William, Albion and Pearl, all grown and married. She leaves two half-sisters, Mrs. Lola Lough of Waynetown and Mrs. Emma James of Terre Haute. Also three stepdaughters and two stepsons are left to mourn. She was a devoted member of the Christian Church. Mrs. Chambers was well known in Crafordsville where she lived two years about 20 years ago. - kbz
