CHAMBERLAIN, George F - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica, Ind March 22 – George F. Chamberlain, proprietor of a hardware store at Newtown, ten miles east of here was found dead late Saturday in a storeroom adjoining his store. He had been setting up some machinery and testing out some tractors and was overcome by gas from a tractor. An employee who had missed him from the store, went in search of him and found his body on the floor.  Chamberlain was 40 years old and had been a resident of Newtown six years, going there from Ohio.  A widow and three children survive. – kbz
