CEDARS - Margaret Emza

Mrs. Margaret Emza Cedars, 85 years old a lifelong resident of the Wesley neighborhood died at 12:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Dinwiddie home, 603 South Washington Street. She had been ill the past year.  Born near Waynetown July 28 (?) 1853, Mrs. Cedars was the daughter of Leslie and Mary Hall SInger. She was a member of the Christian Union Church and for many years had resided one mile south of Wesley. Surviving are two sons, Burton of Kokomo and Oscar of near Yountsville and a daughter, Goldie of New Castle. The husband George Cedars died in 1931. Two sons also preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Christian Union Church - kbz

She had been ill the past year. Born near Waynetown July 8, 1853, Mrs. Cedars was the daughter of Leslie (Wesley) and Mary Hall Singer. She was a member of the Christian Union Church and for many years had resided one mile south of Wesley. Surviving are two sons, Burton of Ko[ko]mo and Oscar of near Yountsville and a daughter, Goldie of New Castle. The husband George Cedars died in 1931 (29 December 1932). Two sons also preceded her in death (Charles and ?). Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Christian Union Church. - typed by kbz
