Lewis Catterson was born in Mahaska Co Iowa Oct 6, 1864 departed this life September 12, 1912 aged 47 years 11 months 6 days. Left an orphan at an early age he had his home from place to place until his marriage to Angeline Cude April 14, 1889. To this union were born 3 children: Alva A; Ivan R and Rilda A. He was converted five years ago and united witht he Pleasant Grove Church and lived anoble Christian life since always in his severe sickness giving evidence of his being ready for the ? called death. He leaves to mourn their loss a devoted wife, 3 children and two grandchildren and a host of friends. A dear one from us is gone. .. Funeral was conducted from the home by Rev. AM Tomlinson on Friday Sept 13, 1912 burial following in Cashatt Cem.
