Mrs. Sarah Cating, aged 79 years, passed away at her home in West Lebanon about one o'clock last Thursday afternoon after a short illness of chronic bronchitis. Mrs. Cating was born September 10, 1853, at Charlestown, Ohio, and when 8 years old moved to Warren county with her parents, Obadiah and Susan Raines. She was married in 1871 to Napolean Cating, a Civil war soldier, who passed away in 1906. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Freda Zufall of Indianapolis, Mrs. Rena Dolph of Los Angeles, Calif. and Mrs. Bertha Keffer of West Lebanon, and by four sons, Edward Cating of State Line, Frank Cating of Indianapolis, Oba Cating of Los Angeles, Calif., and Percy Cating of West Lebanon. George Raines of Williamsport is a brother.
