CASE, Elizabeth DeMotte - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Elizabeth DeMotte Case wife of Dr. MT Case of this city died Sunday afternoon about 3 o’clock at her home on East Main Street following a long illness. Mrs. Case had been a resident of Attica about 50 years and had been closely associated with the religious and club life of the city. She was a woman of fine literary ability and her writings were tense and to the point. Mrs. Case was a member of the ME Church, the Woman’s  Home Missionary Society and the Woman’s Foreign Missionary Society and the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union and was a very active member of in all these organizations. She was 79 years old and besides the husband she is survived by one daughter, Miss Jessie Case of Indianapolis and one son, Charles Case of Florida. The funeral will be conducted from the home this afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Interment will follow in Riverside cemetery.
