CAYUGA, Ind. – Mrs. Addie D. Case, 83, formerly of 403 W Curtis, Cayuga, died at 1:20 p.m. Sunday (July 30, 1978 ) at the Knights of Pythias Nursing Home in Lafayette, Ind. She had been a patient there two years. She had worked as a telephone operator. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Rossville, World War I Auxiliary, Eugene Township Home Demonstration Club, American War Mothers and was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Rossville. She was a past worthy matron of the chapter. Her hobbies were needlework and gardening. She was born March 25, 1895, in Penfield, the daughter of William McClane and Martha Ellen Neff Borror. She married Harmon Case Sept. 5, 1924, in Chicago. He died July 11, 1975. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dr. Everett (Dorothy) Nicholson of West Lafayette, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Jesse Morgan of Montecello and Mrs. Dorothy Allison of Danville; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son and a sister. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pape Memorial Home in Danville. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. -– jlr
