Kingman, Ind. - Services for Mrs. Dolores M. Carter, 31, of Veedersburg Route 3 who was killed instantly early Monday when the auto she was driving crashed into a boxcar on U. S. 136 east of Covington, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Woodrow Funeral Home. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs of Veedersburg will officiate, and burial will be in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today. Mrs. Carter was born March 28, 1937 in Crawfordsville, the daughter of Ivan Raymond and Iona Wooten. She was married to Howard Carter and was a member of the Church of God in Veedersburg. Survivors include her husband, Howard; daughter Phyllis Joan, who was critically injured in the crash and is in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville; a son, David LeRoy; her mother, Mrs. Iona Gilley, and a brother, Ivan Raymond Wooten of Kingman. She was preceded in death by a son and her father.

KINGMAN - The funeral of Mrs. Delores Carter was held in the Woodrow Funeral Home. The service was in the charge of Rev. Alfred Dobbs of Veedersburg. Organ selections were played by Mrs. B. C. Majors. Pallbearers, who also assisted with the flowers, were Charles Stambaugh, Donald Keller and Jerry Hasselbring of Veedersburg, Marion Craig of Waynetown, James Carter, David Beeson and Albert Gearhard. Burial was in the Fraternal Cemetery. - jlr
