Crawfordsville—Robert L. Carroll, 48, Kingsville, Texas, died at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 1989, in his home.
He was born Jan. 2, 1941, in Crawfordsville, the son of James R. and Kathryn Waldon Carroll. He was married April 6, 1962 at Hillsboro to Jacqueline Sue Ludlow, who survives.
He was a 1959 graduate of Richland Township High School in Fountain County, and was a retired Navy chief petty officer. He was a member of Fremont Street Baptist Church in Crawfordsville.
Surviving besides his wife are three daughters, Nancy Franklin, Chattanooga, Tenn., and Diana S. and Judith A. Carroll, both of Kingsville; three brothers, Carl, Greenville, S. C.; Richard, Houston, Texas, and James, Crawfordsville, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, James L.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, with the Rev. Dan Aldrich officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery with military graveside rites. – thanks to S
