Georgetown, Ill.—Paul R. Carrigan, 75, Ponderosa Park, Bayonet Point, Fla., formerly of Georgetown, died at 12:57 a.m. Monday, June 12, 1989 at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville, Miss. He had visiting his daughter, Diane Smith of Indianola, Miss.
  He was born June 15, 1913 in Perrysville, the son of Alfred and Agnes Winters Carrigan. He married Grace L. Blakeney, who preceded him in death in March 1987.

  He had been employed with Hegeler Zinc., General Electric, Rockford Life, Layette Life Underwriters and Prudential Insurance Co., retiring in 1974. He served as an alderman in Georgetown for several years and served on the Georgetown School Board.
  He was a member of the First Christian Church, New Port Richey, Fla.; the Scottish Rite Consistory of Danville; Past Master of Russell Lodge 154 of Georgetown, and Past Worthy Patron of Order of Eastern Star, Iris Chapter 307, Danville. He belonged to the Egypt Temple in Tampa, Fla. and also he belonged to the West Pasco Shrine Club.

  Surviving are a son, Don R., Georgetown; a daughter, Mrs. George (L. Diane) Smith, Indianola, Miss.; a brother, Clyde G., Georgetown; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and four step grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Bill Pullin officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery.
