CARR, Opal Boswell - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Opal Fern Carr of RR 1, Bloomingdale, age 64, died Friday morning, June 19, in Covington Manor Health Center at Covington. She was born in Fountain County, December 5, 1916, the daughter of Josiah and Delilah Leath Boswell. December 24, 1936, she married Jodie Car, who survives. Mrs. Carr was a member of Kingman OES.

  Also surviving are two sons, Joe D. of RR 1, Bloomingdale, and Roy P. of Marshall; three sisters, Mrs. Audrey Turner of Greenfield, Mrs. Martha Cole of Perrysville and Mrs. Lois Sutliff of Madison; a brother, Robert Boswell of Pasadena, Texas; and six grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Butler Funeral Home in Rockville with Rev. Max Paddock officiating. Burial was in Rush Creek Cemetery near Tangier. – thanks to S
