CARR, Francis Edward - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Francis Edward Carr of Attica, age 70, died Tuesday morning, June 16, in Williamsport Community Hospital. He was born near Oxford, November 4, 1910, the son of Patrick and Minnie M. Royal Carr. November 4, 1939, he married Doris Utterback, who survives. A member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and a graduate of Attica High School, he worked for 30 years as a toolmaker at Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica.

  Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Patricia DeSutter of Attica; and two brothers, James of Rochester and Robert of Champaign, Illinois.

  Funeral services were held Friday morning at St. Francis Xavier Church with Father Edward Matuszak officiating. Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery at Attica. The rosary was recited Thursday evening at Maus Funeral Home in Attica. – thanks to S
