CARR, Dottie Mae - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Dottie Mae Carr age 62, passed away on Wednesday Aug 9 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Helen Hatton in Phoenix, Arizona.  She was born in Fountain County, Indiana June 2, 1888 the daughter of Samuel Augustus and Lottie Jane Newnum Woodrow.  She was married to Fred Charles Carter who preceded her in death.  Later years she married Charles Carr who also preceded her in death.  Survivors include two sons, Roy Carter of Kingman and Chares Carter of Veedersburg, the daughter Mrs. Helen Hatton of Phoenix; three sisters: Mrs. Opal Zackmire of Kingman; Mrs. Dora Hatch and Mrs. Lizzie Carr both of Veedersburg; Mrs. Dora Hatch and Mrs. Lizzie Carr both of Veedersburg; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  One daughter preceded her in death.  Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at the Woodrow Funeral Home with Rev CE Smith of Danville, Ill in charge.  Interment was at Harveysburg cemetery.   – thanks to Bren M for sending this one   ~~~Transcribed and Type by KBZ
