CARPENTER, Arnold - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg - Arnold Carpenter, age 58, a native of Veedersburg, and brother of Mrs. Ethel Hensley of Covington, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, in a hospital at Muncie, where he had resided. Born near Veedersburg, he was the son of Gene and Josie Furr Carpenter. He was a veteran of Army service during World War II. Survivors include two brothers, Harry of Inglewood, Calif., and Homer of Bloomingdale; and two sisters, Mrs. Louise Sapp of Inglewood, Calif., and Mrs. Ethel Hensley of Covington. Services and burial were held in Muncie Saturday, March 16.
