CAROTHERS, Nathan - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Nathan Carothers, 75, retired carpenter, died at 9:30 Sunday, Aug. 7 at the home of his sister, Mrs. Mary Bush, Lodi. He had been ill a year of heart trouble.

  Mr. Carothers was born Aug. 9, 1872 in Parke County, son of William and Julia Griffin Carothers. He is survived by the sister, Mrs. Bush, a brother, Joseph, of Detroit, and a half brother, Deverter Gill of Lodi.

  Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. Bush Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Gordon Monk officiating. Burial in Miller Cemetery with Watson’s in charge. – S&E
