Veedersburg, Ind. - Services for Mrs. Ada Carmichael, 83, a native of Veedersburg, were at 2 p.m. today at Malvern, Ar. She had heart ailment and died at her home in Malvern Monday night (Oct. 15, 1968). She was born in Veedersburg, the daughter of James and Hanna Marlatt Helms. She attended Veedersburg schools and was a member of the Methodist Church. She was married to J. T. Carmichael, who preceded her in death. Survivors include two nieces Mrs. Hanna Lou Smith of Veedersburg and Mrs. Wandalene Cook of Crawfordsville.


Veedersburg - Mrs. Ada Helms Carmichael, of Malvern, Ark., died Monday night, Oct. 14, in Malvern. Mrs. Carmichael was born and raised in Veedersburg, the daughter of James and Hannah Marlatt Helms. She had lived in Arkansas for many years and until the last few years spent the summers in Veedersburg. Living in this area are two nieces, Mrs. Keith Smith of Veedersburg, and Mrs. J. Milo Cook, of Crawfordsville.


Veedersburg - Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Carmichael, 83, Veedersburg native, were held Wednesday at Malvern, Ark. News of her death was received here by a niece, Mrs. Keith Smith. Mrs. Carmichael was the daughter of James and Hannah Marlatt Helmes. She attended Veedersburg schools and was a member of the United Methodist Church. Her marriage was to J. T. Carmichael of Malvern and he preceded her in death. Mrs. J. Milo Cook of Crawfordsville is also a niece.
